Vet tech schools in Georgia include Gwinnet Technical College, which offers a veterinary technician certificate program as well as an associate degree program. The former runs for a minimum of two semesters but is not offered yearly. And admission means applying for and being accepted into the veterinary technology associate program. The first semester for the certificate program are essential core courses. The actual technical courses are taken up during the second semester. Completion of the certificate program leads to employment as veterinary tech assistance.
